SIA Home Fashion create their faux flowers entirely by hand. Each leaf and petal is individually thermally molded in a press and then attached to the flower one-by-one with acute attention to detail. The petals are hand dyed in a colour bath and then handbrushed with each tiny vein painted carefully onto the petal to give a real variation to the colour. The finishing result is a flower that resembles nature as closely as possible. SIA use nature as their one and only inspiration, collecting 500 references from nature each season, including stems, bushes, arrangements, potted flowers and trees. Phalaenopsis Orchids are the perfect flowers for a fresh spring display, and the orange colour here has been achieved by dipping the petals into the colour bath several times to achieve a real richness of colour.
