Interior Designer and Sales

Ashchurch, Tewkesbury - Gloucestershire


This is an excellent opportunity for an Interior Designer, with a design related degree, and experience in taking design projects from conception to completion, to join a professional design company specialising in high-end residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will be immediately required to support numerous projects from conception through to completion. This is an exciting time to join our team with the opening of our brand new 15,500ft² showroom located in Ashchurch, Gloucestershire set for summer 2017. The successful candidate will occasionally be required to travel to our showroom in Broadway, Worcestershire and initially work there before our expansion to Ashchurch.


  • - Talking to potential interior design customers about our service and gaining new clients
  • - Producing high quality interior design schemes including hand and computer drawn perspectives and plans for mood boards
  • - Working on residential and commercial interior design projects from start to finish
  • - Confidently advising clients with their interior design queries
  • - Assisting customers in the showroom, answering queries and putting quotes together
  • - Merchandising, pricing and maintaining the showroom/s appearance on a regular basis
  • - Answering the phone and dealing with online queries/quotes
  • - Ability to build a good product knowledge

 Qualifications & Attributes

  • - Relevant Degree
  • - Excellent Skills in Vector Works, Adobe Photoshop & Indesign
  • - Understanding of design in the luxury sector is desirable
  • - Experience of working on residential and commercial interior design projects from start to finish
  • - Excellent communication skills & a confident phone manner (both with the clients and sub-contractors)
  • - Excellent attention to detail, effective time and workload management
  • - A strong portfolio showing experience with residential and commercial projects
  • - Good project management skills
  • - UK Drivers License and own transport
  • - An interest in trends, culture and future technology is desirable
  • - Ability to occasionally travel between showroom locations
