WWI Fighter Plane
The legendary Transparent Spad was a French biplane fighter aircraft of World War One. Developed by Societe Pour Laciation et ses Derives (SPAD), its speed and manoeuvrability made it one of the most capable fighter planes of WWI. With 8,472 made and orders of around 10,000 cancelled at the Armistice in 1918, it played an important role in the British-French-American victory.
