Lockheed Constellation Model
Known as Connie for short, the Constellation Plane changed aviation forever. Designed by the Lockheed Corporation in the 1940s, this aircraft was the first to be built with a pressurised cabin, allowing air travel to fly higher and more comfortably than ever before. It was also the first to have hydraulically boosted power controls, making it faster than most WWII fighter planes.
