DC3 Model
Dubbed the ‘Workhorse of the Skies’, the DC3 – also referred to as the Dakota DC3 or Douglas DC3 – was the world’s first successful commercial airliner. It was first flown in 1935 and was later adapted for use during WWII to transport soldiers, wounded troops and military cargo.
