Pronounced ike-holts, Eichholtz is the design inspiration of Theo Eichholtz. As an antique collector, he travels the world, rummaging through shops and market stalls looking for the most unique pieces. During a trip to Asia in the early 1990s, a particular style caught Theo's attention: Chinese colonial furniture. Captivated by its design, he began to import it, marking the beginning of the Eichholtz brand in 1992.
