French Finish
The box is made from maple hardwood that has constructed in an ivory French finish. The French finish involves at least five coats of varnish being applied, with sanding in between. The idea is to create a rich coat that, together with applications of subtle patinas and mixed waxes, results in an aged and lived-in look.
