French Finish
The Authentic Models Caddie Cabinet's black French-finished wood is interspersed with lighter hues of rich honey wood on the drawers to create a warmer colour palette than most traditional cabinets. The French finish involves at least five coats of varnish being applied, with sanding in between. The idea is to create a rich coat that, together with applications of subtle patinas and mixed waxes, results in an aged and lived-in look.
